Dictamnus albus 'Purpureus'



Description: Pink Gas Plant features beautiful spikes of lightly-scented shell pink flowers with purple veins rising above the foliage in early summer, which emerge from distinctive purple flower buds, and which are most effective when planted in groupings. It's compound leaves remain forest green in colour throughout the season. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.

Water Needs: Low - Medium, can handle dry conditions

Tips: This is a relatively low maintenance perennial, and is best cleaned up in early spring before it resumes active growth for the season. Deer don't particularly care for this plant and will usually leave it alone in favor of tastier treats.
